Inventive Engineer/Physicist Sought for Terahertz Development

Durham Photonics Ltd is a European SME company with interests in the development of terahertz (THz) technology for a variety of applications. We seek a development engineer/physicist to develop a practical quantum cascade laser (QCL) source system.

Experience in advanced III-V materials and devices, togther with some knowledge of cryogenics and optics, is essential. The postholder should be available to start work in early 2009 and will be required to demonstrate eligibility to participate in EU funded programmes.
