News: Life Sciences Workshop

Diamond Light Source is hosting a Life Sciences Workshop, as part of the New Light Source Project scientific consultation excercise, on Thursday 19th June 2008. The workshop will include a presentation by Professor Martyn Chamberlain (Durham University), Scientific Co-ordinator of TeraNova.

The aim of the workshop is to identify the major scientific opportunities for research in biology and medicine that will be facilitated by a new light source.

The programme will include a number of short presentations followed by discussions.

The workshop will be held in Room G59, Ground Floor Diamond House, Diamond Light Source, Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Didcot OX11 ODE.
